Hey Michelle I was looking at pumps today and came across a great that's available on almost every fish store website that I know of. It's called a Coralife Pump...I'm getting the Nano one for sure...but I think they have bigger ones.

Hooray!!!! Well, I came home about 7:30pm and my husband had already filled it back with water, that was around 3 this afternoon- so far...still no leaks.
In the meantime while we were fixing the wet/dry, we moved the pump to the inside on the tank- far left top corner, WOW!!! what a circulation that was created!
My rock looked to me like it was going to blow away- everything on it, and more I had not seen before was 'straining' to feel the current it looked like. When I got nervous, I turned it off to give them a break- they went BACK in the rock, I turned it back on and out they come again- I have to get another pump to circulate the water more, as they seem to really like it- I am just afraid of blowing something OFF the rock That shouldn't be blown.
Keep your hopes going for me- I will post a pic of the fixed piece.
what was straining, i'm glad about leak being gone let us know and i can't wait for more pictures. my pic. messed up or the place did. my husband said they should have turned out. i turned in more yesterday. i hope to have pic. of my own. in the mean time all of yours do fine, lol

Question: you all know I have a 180- if I change my wetdry to a wet/dry with a protein skimmer which I have found- what size is needed ? Right now we have a 300 gal filter under the tank. Leak is fixed for now- planning for the future.

Hey Amanda- sorry didn't get to you earlier..... My feather dusters and what I 'think' might be a rock anemone. They were reaching so far out from the rock! So cool to see them come to life like that!

Yes, so far so good on the leak. I was getting so depressed! Everything I had wanted to do was put off due to the leak taking priority! Darn leak!
Now I am moving forward again----- yeah!I've been drawing alot at work- and hopefully can create the underwater image I keep doodling. It would help if I were an artist (hahaha) But I am not, so we'll let nature take its course and see what happens with the aquascape! Pics to post soon- promise, now that leak is gone!

I've seen a few products by Coralife- have you had anything from them? Are they a good company to use?

Be careful with GARF. I ordered form them once and lost a bunch a stuff shortly after it arrived. I will give the grunge credit though. It is definitly full of life. I lost about a fourth of the snails I ordered and none of the corals I ordered survived. I really admire what they are doing but I dont feel that they have very good shipping policies.

Hey Mike- thanks for the heads up- I was going to order some of their rock sculptures. Any luck with those?
Have you or anyone you know ordered them- if so- did you have the same results? Thanks!

Hey everyone! Question:
Are there any snails that would eat a feather duster on a live rock?
The 1 snail that the LFS gave me for a $1-(because she had no idea what it was) seems to have been hanging around the same spot my duster was-it's been like 3 days, hasn't moved, so I moved it. There is now a caved indentation where the snail was, and my duster is GONE. I know a picture would help- working on that- but any ideas? I really like the snails shell, and I really liked the beautiful feather that was coming from my new rock- if I has to choose, I want to keep the feather- what kind of snail would suck up a duster AND the rock around it?!? Thanks!

Does anyone know what this is? It seems like a mussel or clam, bivalve of some sort. When I feed my tank- it slowloy comes forward- lengthening itself away from the rock- then it slightly opens it's shell- I can't find it anywhere I look. The closest thing was a turkey oyster? I think that's what it was called. Any guesses? It came on the rock.

Hey all! Just give me a second- I haven't been on photobucket for a bit - now I can't upload my pics. I have been using walmart.com for my slideshows. Let me try to post and you will see what I have so far. I have a nice rock on hold at my LFS with a pink tip attached to it. NICE!
