| From this pic I think you may have problems with the sun light coming through the window or sliding door which ever it is. ![]() I like your tank but wonder if you plan on more LR. I had a problem trying to see the slide show it went by so fast so I went to your potobucket page and looked. Here is a link if others want to see the pic's in still frame. chellespictures - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

| Thanks Ed! I will not do the slideshow then in the future, just the link. Thanks for letting me know. The tank is in front of a wall to wall window- and has been since I first filled it with water on 9/17/07- I do not have a problem with algae or temperatures rising if that is your concern- everything is so picture perfect. The sun rises on that side, so it is not 'full blown' in the window by the afternoon. And the fish seem to like swimming in and out of the light beams. Yes I am getting more rock- but I have put it off since again I am having 'issues' with my lights. The rocks I have picked out have SO MUCH life on them- I am afraid of damaging them without my light working properly. The piece I really like has a beautiful anenome that has made a spot in the rock its home. It is a pink tip. I will fix the link, and add more pics as they are taken - thanks again for the tip on the slideshow.

| Ok- you are too funny!! Guys- I don't understand it. Maybe it is just from my computer that it is working. But if you click 'on the picture' it plays perfectly.

| I am just sitting here laughing- you are cracking me up! No, it must be a reflection or something- neither my husband nor myself would paint the walls PINK. That is so funny. The tank is in the fireplace room. It is a weird blue paint color from Lowe's. Depending on how the light hits it- it looks like a tint of blue, it is called silent white. I liked it, he is now reconsidering- but too late now- tank is up! I went back to photobucket and redid the time frame on the pics, so maybe it will be different now. I just don't understand why it plays so well from my screen.

| Thanks. I got the photobucket idea from right here on RB. Although it took me a bit to figure it out- everyone here was VERY patient and helpful! Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up. It's FREE and you can do alot. I also have signed up with Walmart.com - Save money. Live better. - I am going to make a coffee mug to take to work, and an actual photo book to bring to work- a large one because the small ones don't do the fish justice! lol Try it and let all of us here see something. I like some of the music there- still trying to figure out how to put my own choice. But I like the song I picked- it reminds me of our trip to the Bahamas! And the fish like it! LOL! Nite!

| I moved the entire "cave" to in front of the overflow. I need 1 more piece of rock for the canopy, then will update the picture. I plan on getting lights fixed asap or sooner! Then I can bring home my rock! HAHA I went to LFS at lunch to visit it! (silly I know)

| hey, going to the fish store at lunch is not silly. i not only hit the fish store at lunch every now and then but i also hit the reptile store down the street as well. i love my new job location...perfectly set up in the right location for my weird and obsessive compulsive saltwater fish obsession. i need to do a photobucket video gallery of my tank. obviously it wont take very long to look at it seeing as it is not nearly as large as your tank michelle...you lucky girl u!!!! my wife would kill me if she came home and saw a tank that size...she thought my 29gallon was large...goofy girl. keep those pics coming. steve ![]()

| Thanks Guys!! I am so happy the picture is working now. I will add more pictures on a weekly basis. I think that is a valid commitment- rather than trying to do it each day. I picked up some purple seaweed for my tank- because I read the hermit/emerald/arrow crabs will eat pieces also. And that it supplements the hermits since I have not a spot of algae. Is that true? Anyone know? Also, I have been hearing negative on the green/red seaweed, and found REAL purple seaweed online that they say is the best thing, no additives or coloring or sugars added- the fish/inverts gobble it up. It looks black, not purple, that is how deep colored it is. Any comments on seaweed?(today I picked up a trial pack at Petsmart) AND...almost not wanting to share this.... but I love you guys so- AQUALINKS in Ocala has a nice load of honeycomb rocks, I plan on getting some hopefully this weekend, but really want to fix light problem first. Then will be adding a nice formation on left side. Almost like a cascading mountain. Gotta go- glad pics are able to be viewed now. Nite to all!!!

| Saturday: more honeycomb rock and a "chestnut turban" snail- cute orange shell. Picture to come when he 're-emerges' from his hiding spot. I thought I had lost the firefish- wasn't sure where he was for a whole day- turns out....he has picked the small urchin shell as his home. Whew! Didn't lose him!

| Oh that sucks! I can't wait to get Hard Core status! Pics are coming- BUT I had taken them after adding the new rock- and I made a stupid , STUPID mistake. I got excited and added them- without the rinse that I have usually been doing. SO now my water has clouded slightly- pics not so good. AS SOON AS WATER IS PRETTY AGAIN=MORE PICS! Promise. 400 huh? Man I've got a long way to go.......

| Hey anyone- I saw in a catalogue a product that you add to your sump and it helps to clean your hoses. I can't remember which catalogue it was and now can't find it. I think I may have sand in my hose somewhere, what can I do (short of taking the hose off- which if you have been reading my entire world here on RB you know I am NOT choosing that option) Any suggestions for reef safe item would be appreciated- Thanks!

| Also- in a few catalogues, they have "water clarity" and "clear water" additives, that say are for saltwater tanks. Does anyone use this? And would it harm the life in the tank? I use bottled RO so no problem with my water-up until adding this rock. Thanks again.
