Hello Everyone and Happy New Year !!

Alot has happened in my life since my lil vacation here.. Some good and some bad

My grandfather was in and out of the hospital due to congestive heart failure and heart disease, On Dec 1'st he passed

I booted my girlfriend (I defiently enjoy being a bachlor instead)

I was in the middle of moving into my new place when I got the call about my pops...

Im doing alright I guess, Im up and down more then I was before though, my back is well my back, still aching me...

The 210 is ALIVE, its moving along..

Here's some pics of my progress....

I like how it is all in one...neato. Tank looks very good...
How do you have the top off bucket connected to your RO/DI or do you just refill the bucket when it gets low?

Thanks!

I just refill the bucket every 2 days, But I am debating on going down in the crawl space and sweating in a new water line right next to my tank so I can make it a touch easier.

I might as well, I have to run two 20amp GFCI lines for the tank (breaker pops when the chiller comes on, its only a 15amp line currently)

also in the works for teh future, get my CA reacotr online, and plumb in 1 of my 40 breeders for either a large algae farm or proagation

how much evap are you getting daily on this 210? Also does your chiller run frequently? Looks like an older chiller unit? The RK2's are awsome, I love mine. Have you been following the RKE thread on RC? They are getting ready to release the RKE next month, looks killer! Just tagging along Crazy. Looking good. Sorry about all your recent trials and personal issues, passing of you GP. Take care.

Thanks Everyone.

For evap I go through 5 gallons or so every 2 days.

The chiller has kicked on a couple times and it pops my breaker, so I have it off for now, I have to run a 20 amp line and then Im gonna do a gfci, I will probably end up doing two gfci 20 amp lines and disperse my equipment through both lines.

Its brand new, but yes, its an older model, I got it direct from current usa for about 380 to my door. It was a scratch n dent, still has the warranty which was all I cared about. Same one is 700 at marine depot.

"Big-Blue" is alive and well, bigger then ever, I have a tank at a friends with another 60-70lbs of very very seasoned live rock and lots of corals and fish.

My blue lopezzi tang is HUGE, wait til I get pics of him after I transfer them over, I want to wait another 2-4 weeks to be SURE. if big blue dies I will quit the hobby!

For cost , its hard to even say, look at the cost of live rock for example, I have over 200lbs in my system, then another 240lbs of sand. 4x6100 tunzes with multicontoller, reefkeeper2, asm g4plus skimmer, adhi custom sump/refugium, aqua 57 watt u/v, mag 12 pump for u/v, coil denitrator, tunze top-off, calcium reactor. hamilton 72" 3x250 HQI fixture. and the list goes on, I got a ton of stuff.

I'd guess I am well over 3k with my system, I dont pay attention to cost, I just get what I like. My fish tank keeps me relaxed and it makes me happy.

God bless you if you can afford it Krazy....I understand about wanting to provide the best care for your animals and cost not being an issue....although I wish I could have gotten health insurance on my geckos before one decided to bite the others toe and half its foot off...cost a fortune to reattach it and it was touch and go for awhile but shes as happy as ever..even after losing another toe.

Looks great! It is good to read that you are back. Will you consider posting some pics of the sump set-up on this new tank? I was working at modeling after the old one, but am curious what improvements you have made.
