switching tanks? I currently have a 150 gallon tall glass FOWLR i have a hippo tang, naso tang, yellow tank, false clown, 2 blue chromis, 6 line wrass, red coris wrass, about 15 hermit crabs and around 20 snails and a peppermint shrimp it has been running for about 6 months. I want a longer tank to give the 3 tangs more room to swim so i've decided i want a normal 150 tank or maybe a little bigger and longer i will be putting everything from my 150 tall into the new tank im gonna wait until around tax returns to get the new one though i want to keep a number of corals. I have about 140 pounds of LR and a 4 inch LS/crushed coral bed my new tank will be reef ready and will have a sump which i have never worked with before (Ill be starting a new thread about sump set up soon enough) i want to keep all the live rock...i know i will need more because of longer length of the new one i would also like to transfer as much water as possible to cause the least amount of stress possible on the animals. any information will be greatly appreciated and i'd like to get through this without loosing any of the fish. hopefully someone has experience doing something like this. Thanks!!!!!
PS...if anyone lives in the kansas area and is looking for a bigger tank i will be selling the 150 tall in a few months
