how much sand do i need for my 120 display like how many 40 pound bags .. and what is everyones favorite sand? im just gonna buy base rock and seed it i think ..... my plumbing is insane ill post som epics im finally after not having money forever gettign back to my tank.

i would say pick up 3 to 4 bags to start .. after there in see how dep it is and go from there ..

Depends on how deep you would want your bed. IMHO I would aim for a DSB of at least 4".

It all depends on how thick of a sand bed you want. It will take approx 50-60Lbs of aragonite sand per inch of depth in a standard 120 gal tank.
