| Amazing tank! And the fact that it isn't a BB makes it even more amazing. Great job

| Aquasalt, was that question directed to me? Allelopathy is what is commonly called chemical warfare among corals. It is thought to be less problematic to segregate families although the whole thing is pretty random: certain species poison some but not others. It's not well explored; there has been a lot of discussion about leathers and mushrooms being extra aggressive, but it turns out sps even do it to some extent. Even sps and lps can clash. |

| It's me for a seond tine thank you for the pic. that's the closest Iv'e seen all those with so much detail. Here goes, I didn't want to ask but what is diff. about corals types. I am ashamed to atmite I don't even know what sps means ![]() ![]() At least I wait till I know to buy. this It's like having a second child. after the 1st you know how much $ you waste and what u did wrong. more exp. less mistakes. Your tank is an insperation to me. Things have been so complicated for us latly and then my clown dies. I think it's these moment in life that determine how dedicated one is. For the 1st time in 3 years, or is it 4 now, I was gonna throw in the towel. not forever but I was for now. I made it through and made myself keep going. It's tanks like yours that keep me going because it shows just how beautifull this hobby really is |

SPS & LPS are types of corals in a family known as scleractinia or "stoney". SPS = small polyp "stoney" & LPS = large polyp "stoney". I hope that helps. Feel free to ask me any questions and I can also recommend some good books if you are interested.
