 How many years of experience do you have? Just wondering how many years you guys have been at the saltwater gig?  |

| Re: How many years of experience do you have? Been keeping saltwater fish since the early 80s. Started my 1st reef tank after reading about them in FAMA way back when they had a series of articles about the wet/dry filters being used in Europe.

| Re: How many years of experience do you have? I have been doing saltwater aquariums since early 1992. My wife introduced me to fresh water, and we both started a saltwater fish only. I started my first reef December 2006. |

| Re: How many years of experience do you have? 1st sw tank in the '80's. Switched to freshwater through the 90's. Started another sw tank 1.5 years ago. |

| Re: How many years of experience do you have? If researching counts for anything... since January, 2007. If not...well, I have none. But, I do have about 15 years of FW experience all told. |

| Re: How many years of experience do you have? When I was a kid I had a freshwater tank for 5 years. The fish were very accustomed to me feeding them so when anyone got near they would rise to the surface. Well, my old cat learned she could open the lid and the next morning, no fish but a half eaten one on the floor. I quit the hobby for a while, but I started a 30 gallon freshwater 3 months ago, after I moved out of my parents house. My new cat can't open the lid so much has improved. I am a novice at saltwater though. |
