Good read This Is a shame for the animals. More proof positive Cyano in a reef proves your reef is bleeding not to put a BandAid on it, suck it out and change your water. This is what happens in a natural ecosystem. Our reef must be 100 times as bad.

I am so sad to have read this- but glad I did. We had lost a member of our family - STORM - a boxer/rodesian ridgeback mix. BEAUTIFUL dog, wonderful personality - a heart of GOLD who loved and protected us. He was hit by a car on Easter morning. THE POINT to this memo: I never once gave a thought to the algae that may have been in the lakes we live on. Storm loved jumping in and swimming laps around the lake! I always worried about alligators-not algae. (no alligators near our home, but in same lake) I am passing this on to all my neighbors, as the kids all swim/fish in the lake. michelle, i am sorry to hear about your loss, my cousins have a rodesian ridgback, great personality.

also, they are very strong, they are bread in africa to hunt lions.

I know what it is like to lose a member of the family (dog).
I lost a German Shepard when I was 6 years old it was hard,,, you just have to make piece and move on.
I still remember him to this day.
He kind of looks like Cooke.

im in the outer banks right now, and there was a border collie mix, and it was swimming in the ocean and loved it, but at the same time, there was another dog that had escaped from someones house and it was roaming the beach, so i took the dog and looked at its coller, then the lady with the border collie mix came over and i told her how the dog had been roaming.

so, she was like, "OH, i can take the dog back"

but just in the way she said it and the way she treated her dog, i was able to tell she had a real passion for dogs.


i just though i would share this with all of you.
