Just a little insider, a friend and I are starting up an online dealer. Since we will not have to pay a leasing fee, water, electricity, or anything like that we can safely say we are going to actively try to make our prices cheaper than the competition. We are working on deals with different shippers to ensure shipping does not cost an arm and a leg.

I have already began selling live coral and fish to various people, including someone from this site. I think they will agree that what I sell will be top notch, healthy, kept in pristine water, and will look great!

One thing that will be very important to us is getting what the customer wants. We have set it up so that if there is something you are looking for, we will have it available for you within 2-5 business days.

So would any of you fellow reefers be interested in ordering from us once the site is up and by doing that helping us jump starting our small business?

I would be very interested!! I would love to support any fellow RB'ers in starting up their business! Let us know when it will be up..any prediction on length of time?

Well the website will be up in a couple of weeks. We have our "business" room filled with tanks right now and they are cycling. At this time we have a 135gal, 200gal, 200gal, 100gal, 60gal, 60gal, and a 40gal. As soon as those are finished cycling we r going to head down to our wholesaler and have some fun. Once that is done the site will be full of corals, fish, and inverts.

Until that happens the site will have captive grown frags for sale.

The first trip to the wholesaler will be in a couple of weeks so if anyone has an item they are interested in send me a pm and we will check out what the wholesalers got!

Hopefully we will be ready by the 20th, but that is not set in stone and now that i think of it there may be a delay.

Make sure you check with Ryan as to what he wants from a business selling corals from RB. Im sure you need to be a sponsor and sounds like you already crossed that line. Most salt forums are very particular about this.
I know a couple people that get shipments direct from indonesia and they eat sleep and breath these corals. Its a lot of hard work at all hours of the day and night. Good luck with the business!

Im looking for a mostly red 3-4" Scolymia, Blue Tort, confetti mushrooms, Green Slimer and other Stag horn Acros. Your wholesaler might call all Acros Staghorns but Im talking the Staghorns that grow tall unlike a table acro. Something no less than 4" tall. I am at least 1 month away from getting them so no pressure just asking.

Sounds like you could have a good thing going, I also would be interested in some colorful acros since our LFS don't seem to get a lot of colorful critters very often.

pictures are always welcome - make you want to buy things

Thanks for thinking of the consumer as we get tired of paying high livestock prices
when we know there is a very high markup
