Default Injured bubble coral

Hi Gang,

So I just got my bubble coral last weekend. It was shipped online and was damaged in the process. The "ribs" split thru the tissue in a few area, and those area of the "bone" are starting to get algae on it. My question is, will the flesh ever cover those ribs again? If not, will algae continue to grow on it and end up causing the flesh to recede and eventually kill it?

So far, the rest of the tissue seems healthy, it's been expanding during the day, and extending its sweeper tentacles at night.

Thanks for your input!

Cheers,

Liz

I would put it in a low flow area and feed it when it's got those sweepers out to keep up it's strength. Wow that was a long time ago... how is this piece doing?
