Icon5 lps placement and help !!

Hello all i purchased some lps for my birthday two weekends ago
and i have some questions about a few things. I guess the first is if they get brown spots from being moved will it repair itself? Also how close can frogspawn and hammer be together they come from
the same family so it should be cool. And how close to soft coral can they be? I did purchase some barrons books but its mostly generalized info witch kinda blows. Any help would be nice also how often to feed candycane.

Diseases on frogspawn and hammer corals are fairly rare so I wouldn't worry about that, but if they are diseases, usually the diseased heads don't recover. Doing a coral dip on them does sometimes help though.

Frogspawn and hammer corals can be placed right next to each other without any issues.

Usually you want to make sure that your LPS and softies don't touch each other or one will usually kill off portions of the other one. So, make sure that the sweeper tentacles don't touch the softies during the day or night, depending on when the sweepers are out.

I never feed any LPS, including the more demanding species. It is not necessary if you have strong enough lighting and the foods fed to them can hurt your water quality if your not carefull. If your lighting is weak, you can spot feed all your LPS once a week.

But do pay attention to the type of lps you have. I just lost a large symphyllia brain from not feeding it, mainly because I thought it was a lobo. No symbiotic algae.... It broke my heart when I figured that one out.

Most coral like small meaty bits of food like cyclops and brine and marine cusine feed often with good flow to pass food by more then one time. Some even need to be fead at night. A link to coral needs and wants. Also i think this would be a LPS not a SPS.
