| a float for about 20min then a typical chemistry acclimation( cup of tank water in the bag every 15 minutes) he opens up every once in a while. I think my lights are to bright.

| Are you feeding it when it's open? My dunkins are pigs and they also like moderate flow. I do have new PC at about 5 watts per gallon, and I have them 3/4 up the tank. |

| well i dont get a chance to feed them. does not open for very long. i have ho t5 at about 5/gal. Its sitting on the bottom

| Try putting the duncans on the sand bed, it will allow them to get used to your light, move them up as needed. (over the next couple weeks) I have my 2 headed duncan frag on the sand bed, it was fully open within an hour, and the 2 headed frag is now 7 heads only a month later. Keep us posted. |

| currently on he sand bed for about 24 hours. still not open. how do i know if its not dead?

| 1 or 2 days or more can be normal.Turning man lights out first day and reduceing a few days can help. Just accumulate them good and besure your water readings are correct and your flows not to low or to high.This may help GL.. Goniopora, or Flowerpot. www.asira.org - Coral CareĀ* |
