Default Open Brain, well not open....

I bought a really pretty open brain, got him home, acclimated him slowly and he opened up for a couple days just fine... last two days though he wont open.

My water parameters are spot on, I tried to entice him with some meaty liquid spot fed right on his mouth but he still isnt opening and im kinda getting worried. He is beautiful and was two or three time his shrunk size - here are a couple pics showing him open right after acclimation and another today.
open and happy

closed and sad

I thought he might have closed up due to flow but I dont think that was the issue, all my other LPS are doing great in the same tank....

Thanks in advance for any feedback or advice.
Tom

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I had 2 in my tank that closed up like that for the better part of 3 months. Just make sure you don't have any fish picking at it, and don't try to force feed it or stress it out by moving it around a bunch.

I have done both, I tried to spot feed it a couple times and moved it so it wasnt so close to anything else, last night when the lights were off it plumped up a little so I was encouraged.... Gonne run just the actnics for a couple days as I read on another forum that it may help if its getting acclimated to my lights.
Also in fear of brown jelly I did a 3 second fresh water dip per another site. So much information on the internet, sometime it only aids in confusing newbies like me.
His color this morning is still good, still drawn up but not seeing any loss of color. Will hope for the best.
Thanks for the feedback
Tom

If it inflates at night I wouldn't worry too much. I think sometimes we try to do too much and actually do more harm than good. Mine were taking food every week, nice big piece of krill. They haven't taken any food since early January, and just started inflating again.

Is it normal for them to show a couple of white from the skeletal structure when not inflated and sucked in?

He still has good color and I saw one of his mouths open a little last night, still no change on inflating and I wathced last night late to make sure nothing was bothering it - Guess will just hope for the best. I sure hope he makes it, he is beautiful.

I've seen some skeleton showing on them when they are closed way up like that. Just give it some time, make sure it's not being battered by flow.
