Default Fungia back from the dead???

I had a beautiful green and purple fungia in my tank for a good 3 years, but sadly it started receding and finally died. My dad refused to let me take the skeleton out of the tank because it could be made into live rock. Well...I'm glad he was stubborn because I pulled the skeleton out from behind some rocks to bring it to the front of the tank and I noticed small green and purple polyps along one edge of the skeleton.

I'm 99% positive its fungia polyps because of the color...

Question is...how do I help it along to full recovery? I'd say right now it's got another 90% of growing to do, but there's a little bit of green algae on the skeleton. I've tried to use a turkey baster and feed the polyps tiny pieces of shrimp, krill, plankton etc.

Nothing in my tank bothers corals, so I dont have to worry about it getting eaten.

Any ideas about how to help it out?

I would let it be where it is at, make sure it gets the lighting, flow and food that it needs! I do not know the history as to why it died in the first place, but it sounds like the conditions have changed in its (and your) favor. Someone else might have a little more useful info.
Congrats!
