| Ok maybe I missed this but can I ask what spectrum your lights are in? it just may be a matter of making a lighting change in spectrum Usually high antinics produce well

| BINGO!!!!! |

| All I know about my lights is that they're made by Current, one dual actinic 65W and one 10,000 daylight 65W... I would like to up my lighting a BIT, just temporarily until next Christmas or so; is there a single strip light, T5 or another HO I can just add to my lights now? Or would it be more worth my $ to just upgrade? I'm looking to just upgrade my lights enough to have 3W/gal in my 55gal.... since we're talking about lights and all! *(I may have missed this answer too!). Dana |

| OH ya, I have the blues come on for 2 hours, then the daylights with blues for 8 hours, then just blues for another 2 hours... Also, may be the amount of sand I have; I have about 1" in some spots and bare in others so adding more sand today. Guess this hobby is about trying things till you find what works sometimes, just glad I only have pods and cleaning crew in there now, no fish or inverts yet! Dana |
