Default feather caulerpa

Does anyone know of a reliable source for feather caulerpa? Is this a seasonal algae or is it all banned because of the problem that California is having with it?

Marine Depot has there red algae mislabeled. There are no red caulerpa. Caulerpa has been banned in many states due to its ability to grow fast and quickly take over essentially smothering all other plant life and completely destroying the ecosystem.

That sounds like annacaris(sp?) for freshwater. Halimeda is much more easily controled right?
