Default want to build a algee tank...

I am thinking on building another tank. This one will display the beautiul array of algae
I know very little about macroalgae. If you have any pic's to share and what is needed for its growth I would like to see and learn.
Or any marine plants that are fairly easy to obtain and keep.
Thanks
Lucky

Yes i'm setting one up now, cool ideal. Will provide me with food for my tang without soiling my display tank. Got a fuge but with only one algae so they don't compete for food and make toxins in water. It will also be my hospital tank, and even in the future a place for seahorse.

Any pic the would be cool to see.

You can see my plant tank here:

Its amazing how much plants help in filtration....Its one of those things that you dont really know 'till you try it.

If you want really good growth, just get regualr 6700k lights and not the 50/50. I have tried to grow mangroves in 10k light and they died. I triedmangroves in 6700k lighting and they flourished.

wow, i have never had that problem with mangroves dying under 10,000k lights. The ones in my MT have been under T5 10,000k for months. I just got some T5 6700k bulbs, so i'm excited about that.
