What do you guys know about this stuff? Can it go in a DT or is it better in a fuge? Any info you all can give ie personal experience.....

I have some in both, one thing with it though is that you won't get the benefits of other types of Macro algae's, Halimeda is a calcium based algae, I personnally think that it is more for looks that nutrient export benefits.

As far as I know, no they won't at least not on the larger scale that some of the other macro's will. From my understanding depending on how much you have and the other types of corals you have you might actually start having a problem with it using to much calcium or alk. Right now I am using it in mine to judge the levels of calcium and alk, as long as it is growing decent then I feel that the level those elements are at are good.

could'nt say it better myself. it will reproduce rapidly if the condtions are right which is good and bad for the whole calcium level thing.
