Default i am noticing air bubbles in my sand bed.......

i am noticing air POCKETS in my sand bed it build up within weeks i dont no if its bad or not but i have a couple of sand sifting snails and one sand siffting starfish i mean like when i noticed it now i got a plastic spoon and jabbed the sand bed to relase them it looks like a bunch of tiny bubbles going to the top is this bad i mean i have not noticed it since now.... what should i do if it is bad cause i only poked were i saw air pockects so imagaine were else they are were i cant see .....

Yup it means your tank is doing what it is supposed to do. Those are pockets of nitrogen gas. If you have sand sifters they will take care of them, nothing to worry about

Yeah it is a good thing but stop poking at them.And usually they form near the edge of the glass i believe,may be wrong.But dont poke let the sifters do there thing.

Ammonia 101 -
Ammonia is a gas but it mixes very readily with water. So well in fact that the accepted method of dealing with an ammonia leak is a water fog on the vapor.

I work in an ammonia chemical plant and keep a nano in my office. Ammonia and nitrites are zero, nitrates stable at 10-15 ppm. Dissolved oxygen is always good and I too have bubbles in the sand and popping out of the rocks.
