Default Reef Nano....Bio Balls, Ceramic, Activated Carbon....

Ok, I had this nano running before with water from my display tank. I set it up to QT new fish before moving them to display tank. I have a few LPS & soft corals I'd like to move to this tank. Before tank was just water with all the 3 stage filter components in it. If I'm doing a reef, which of these should I take out. Thanks for any info. It is a JBJ 12 ga. deluxe btw.

I took out the ceramic and bioballs in my 12 gallon Nano Deluxe. I replaced it with live rock rubble. It's not a have to, but it has worked well for me. I'm upgrading my light to a Viper 70watt so I can make the second chamber where the live rock rubble is into a refugium and maybe putting a small pc light over it.
