| Powerheads, lights, skimmer for sump, heater. Powerheads are a definate, lights (if you are keeping corals), maybe a refugium but it's not a have to. Basic equipment. Powerheads like Koralias or Maxijets are pretty good. I have 1 Koralia 2 and 1 Koralia 3 in my 29 gallon, Coralife 130watt pc fixture, prizm skimmer (75), heater, and a refugium. I don't have a sump, but trust me I wish I would have had it drilled for one. It would have made my tank look at whole lot less crowded and the filtration would have been better. |
