10 Gal Nano

I have been interested in these tanks due to the many challenges that come along with them. I started a 10 gal about two months ago. The tank consists of a bio wheel filter, and an underground filter with a 90 power head and. I have used the water and live rock from my other tanks. The tank supports an Arrow crab, Clam, sea horse, and a couple snails. Not a heavy load on the tank at this point. I have read several theories on the Biological filtration (Berlin-style, Monaco-style, Dutch-style) and this is the approach I am using. I tend to use more biology in my tanks and as little technology as possible. Just my thoughts on the subject.

What are your thoughts on the UGF? I personally don't trust them in saltwater.

I did have a 10 gal nano (FOWLR) a while back. It was my first saltwater experience. I had an AC 30 for filtration, crushed coral, and about 15 lbs of live rock. I did water changes about 5 gal every weekend and never had any problems with my fish. Then one day my heater stuck on and killed my livestock. Haven't done nano anything since then . Let me know how it goes for you!
