| Hey Bryson, good to have you join us here at ReefBuilders.com I believe I can help you out in your overflow troubles. You will not lose suction power, if you properly maintain and monitor the system. There are actions you can take to control the amount of water flow to and from the tank as well. But first off you need to find an overflow box suitable for a 29 gallon tank, then a return pump that almost exactly matches that same number of Gallons Per Hour (GPH.) I will help you find one if your completely lost still. | i have a 20g with a 10g fuge. with a over flow rated 300gph i think. and i use the quietone 3000pump. it keeps with the flow really good. |
