 Venturi skimmer for aquapod 12! I'm so excited! I just got back from my LFS and found out there is a brand new skimmer by aquaeuro USA that according to the owner will fit under the hood in the 12 gallon aquapod! It's a venturi system. It just came out and I can't even find it online except on jbj s website advertised to go with with the 12 gallon nanocube.  Re: Venturi skimmer for aquapod 12! It fit! Not a centimeter to spare though. But it did fit in the center compartment. Ill post how well it skims as soon as i can get it tuned in. |

| Re: Venturi skimmer for aquapod 12! I would put some up but all I have right now is my iPod touch cause my pc is down. If you want to pm me your cell # I can send one from my phone. It fits perfectly without and mods in either of the two center chambers. The only thing I had to do which I had done already was block off the two lower intake vents and most of the top one so the tank was a true overflow system. That way you can keep the water level lower in the back compartments. I did this by cutting a piece of plexi glass to hieght and wedging it between the filter sponge and in take grates. It's not a water tight solution but it works fine as long as your filter pump is running. Originally i just cut out a plastic strip from the top lid of a rubbermaid storage contaner. It seemed to work pretty well except you had to brace it at the top because it would flex from the water flow.
