Default Just bought a 12g JBJ Nano

Hello. I just bought a 12 gallon jbj nanocube and was wondering if it came with proper lighting for a reef setup. The link from where I bought it is below.
I have been reading since sept of last year on how to run a nano tank and think I am ready now.
eBay: New JBJ 12gal Nano cube REGULAR___NEW IN BOX (item 330108397737 end time Apr-21-07 06:29:11 PDT)

I will let you all know when the package is recieved, so I can get as much help as possible.
Thanks for the advice in advance.

That's the classic model. Only has 1 bulb. It will be ok for low light demanding corals such as mushrooms. You an upgrade the lighting - take a look @ nanotuners

Ok.. Thankyou for the heads up! I upgraded the tank to the deluxe model.. I also got a Fission Nano Skimmer, Hydrometer, Saltwater Basic Test Kit Marine Basic, Top Light Heater 50W, and The Nano-Reef Handbook.. After I get the tank up and running I will buy live sand, and live rocks.

You may not like the Fission. Some people swear by it, most swear at it!!! Sapphire sells a skimmer that will fit in the back compartment. Be sure to put the rock in first & back fill with sand to have a good base in case you get burrowing fish. The last thing you want is to have your rock come tumbling down. Good luck!

Mike,
The Nano Fission skimmer will need to be modified to play nice with the NC12. I took the elbos to a hardware store and got some tubing that fit. Put the top elbo on and glue the tubing on. The end that attaches to the pump will need a 1/4" long by 1/8" wide chunk or so cut. Zip tie the gap closed carefully until it is tight and then glue it in place.

You will also want to look at some sort of screen to reduce the microbubbles.

Thanks! They are nos*** snails, I dont know how to spell it.. lol. Plus I have small hermit crabs and 2 blue damsels. The live sand and live rock where out of a tank at the local fish store. So it helps I guess.
