 Week 8 Update of my little piece of heaven I had to move the frogspawn up into the light. I have added a GARF janitor crew and 4 lbs of Grunge+. The ocellaris are happy, the mandarin is doing great and is a big hit in the office. Not quite TOTM, but I think it's getting there. 12 gal Nano DX 20 lbs LS 15 lbs LR 2 ocellaris 1 mandarin dragonet various zoos 1 frogspawn  |

Alot of shells for the hermits to play in as well as rock rubble. dfurbee, It has only been a week for the grunge+ so I am still waiting for the various fauna to make their appearance. There is a new coral polyp in the rubble, though. It did scare the heck out of me when I first put it in. It really muddied the waters for a bit. This has been one of the most rewarding hobbies I have had. |

| Re: Week 8 Update of my little piece of heaven Grunge+ update... I haven't seen any new animals, but I can tell you one thing... My ammonia, nitrites and nitrates have been non-detect since I added the grunge. I have done 20% water changes for pH control. The dragonet is always sucking up something and active. I don't know if it was the grunge or or the bioload balance I have managed to get. I think I have a turquoise coralline growing, but I am wait a bit before I say for sure. 12 gal JBJ Nano DX Current Nano Fission Skimmer Purigen adsorbant Algone pack 20lbs LS, 16lbs LR (counting the grunge mix) 2 ocellaris (Tracy and Dana) 1 mandarin dragonet (Xiulan) 1 Scarlett Cleaner Shrimp GARF 12 gallon Janitor mix of hermits and snails Frogspawn Star polyps 2 purple brain looking coral bunch of zoos caulerpa, which gets trimmed back occasionally. |
