| Siphon it off for starters. Get water movement in the area as well. Cut back on feeding. What are your phosphate levels? Do a good size water change (40%) or better yet follow this method to quickly lower nitrate/phosphate levels: An Instant Nitrate Reduction Method - A Multiple Step Water Change Procedure Be sure that the temperature & salinity match that of your tank.

| You could also get something like this: Chemi-Clean - 2 g | Clarifiers | Water Treatments & Additives | Aquarium - ThatPetPlace.com but it is a band-aid. You need to attack the cause. I would only use 1/2 the amount they recommend. Most of these additives will drive your skimmer crazy so be prepared if you elect to use it.

| You might also want to use chemipure in the filter and RO/DI water if you are not already doing so. If you want to take some out before it spreads anymore, try a turkey baster and suck it out. Should come off fairly easy. |
