For one, Ive read that it's better to lay them flat, and I dont have any where flat to lay him. He actually seems to be doing well in that corner, he is all puffed up and flowing with the water unlike before in the other places I had him.

Nice looking cube Nick. What's the lighting that you have?
Plate corals should be laid flat on the substrate. They had a tendency to move around as well once you lay them flat.

Cant remember what lighting comes with the nano deluxe.

I've had mine for about 2 months, he hasnt moved once.
