Default New to nanos

I am new to saltwater in general, and I would appreciate any advice. A good friend gave (!) me a 24g nano cube yesterday, as she upgraded to a larger tank. She gave me an established live rock, with more to follow, 20lbs of live sand, and plans to help me out with coral frags here and there. I wonder what type of fish would be appropriate. I was thinking about a false percula clown, as the friend of mine will be giving me an anemone also. I was also looking for suggestions on a starfish, and compatibility with royal grammas and any sorts of gobies. I want to keep things simple, small, and to scale. Thank you in advance for any input.

Laurie

For that small of a tank...your not gonna have any luck with starfish...they're going to deplete all the nutrients and such in your live rock and live sand and slowly starve to death. Perculas are a good choice for that small of a tank, I have a 29 gallon biocube myself with 2 perculas. As far as gobies you have options like the clown goby, the watchman goby, and the firefish aka firefish goby. You could look into some crabs/snails to help keep your tank clean. From what I know royal grammas can become very territorial so you'd be pushing it in a 24 gallon tank. If you have any specific questions you can PM me because at night I am at home and am always checking the forums for posts Congrats on your tank
