I need help, I have 5 years of freskwater experi. now I'm switching saltwater, I'm lost lol, what do I need to get everything running nice and smooth.

Check out Ryan's sticky in "getting started/setting up". That should point you in the right direction. You should start looking stuff up to get an idea of what you want to keep. This hobby will be so much cheaper and enjoyable if you commit to researching stuff before you buy.
