Default new tank updates

So I set up my 20 gallon tank just about 2 weeks ago. I have in there 17 pounds of base rock, 1 pound of cured live rock, 20 pounds of live sand. I have a hang on filter. The levels were always normal, no big spikes. I added 3 blue leg hermit crabs. They are living well. The other day I added a firefish. He loves it. I love to watch him as well. Hes eating well, loves the hiding spots and comes out to greet me. I also have on there a 130 watt light. 1 white light and 1 blue light. Yesterday I had a brown algae bloom all of a sudden. I read that this was normal. What could I add to get rid of it. I use tap water that I add dechlorinator to. I dont have access to RO water. Well that is the updates. Hopefully will get some snails and 2 clownfish in the near future.

Hopefully you won't get 2 clownfish in the near future. Slow down - your tank hasn't cycled. 1 lb of LR is not going to do much of anything to cycle that tank. I'm guessing your base rock was dried out when you added it? It takes around 3 to 4 months to colonize it provided you have equal amounts of LR. You have far less than a 50/50 blend so it's going to take longer.
