 salinity Ok I dont have my saltwater "bible" with me. I left it at work over the weekend. Ive set up the tank yesterday but the salinity is off the charts. I put in a half a cup of reef salt for ever gallon of RO water. Should I take some of the water out and put in fresh RO water to lower my salinity or will the salinity level go down in day or two. I know Im sounding stupid here but I cannot remember if it will or do I just need to add change some water out? Thanks for humoring me on this one.  |

| Re: salinity Rinse off your testing equipment and retest. If it is still nutty, replace some of that tank water with fresh RO/DI water.

| Re: salinity Ok so my salinity levels will are not going to level off? What they were when I set up the tank yesterday is what there going to be for a while right, UNLESS I take some of this water out today? |
