Hi, I have a 10 gal. tank w/a false perc., cleaner shrimp, 3 snails, and two hermits. 20 lbs. live rock, 10 lbs. live sand, 2 small filters, and 1 power jet. The tank has done great for 2 months now, but is kind of bland. Is it possible to put a few coral in the tank to get some color going? If so, what suggestions for lighting do you have? Also need help w/suggestions on types of coral. I currently have a small hood w/one 15 watt reef flourescent. Thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!!

You could add some softies like mushrooms. You really need more light to keep anything else.

It is all up to you. But I found the 18" T5HO Nova Extreme 40w 20w 460 Actinic 20w 10,000k works grate on my 10 gal tank thay where around $58.00 at my LFS. Thay have slide brackets that pull out to make it fit the 20" tank. I'm not shur about some of the hard corals. I dont have any but if I get any in the future I will put them up high in the tank.
