Ok, I went to look at some bristle worms and Im not for sure hes NOT a pacific fire worm, SO Im not going to put him back in the tank.
Better to be safe than sorry I guess.

Ive got about 1/2inch thin white tenacles that come out of severl rocks from time to time but never all the way out. Does anyone know what these are?

Ok worm came out of rock. I don think hes a bad worm so I put him back in.

Possibly either a spaghetti worm or a barnacle. Both are simple filter feeders.
