Okay guys, I'm wanting to continue a tank I've already said I was buying in other thread! To brief you, it's a second tank for my GF because she really wants a seahorse tank....Anyways the tank is a 24 gallon aquapod with 70 watt Hallide and moon lights and a few things come with it, especially excited about AquaC remora protein skimmer! Anyways I'm wanting to start the tank and am looking at seahorses as the first thing I want and then what fish should I put in this tank...I know they have to me VERY unaggressive because the seahorses are so docile...My question is, what have you all kept in a seahorse tank that has worked out greatly!

dunno about fish with them really cleaner shrimp would go in fine as well as some other inverts, might try some clams?

I know theres the chart but I know I've seen someones seahorse tank on here with clowns in it??? I just can't remember who it was?!?!

*shrug* anythings possible just not advised. when i was reading foster and smiths site is says you can put it with ocellaris and percula clowns. is there a certain type of sea horse your after?

Not well educated in the seahorse world yet...just looking to buy some that will readily accept mysis shrimp!

aqua pods may be ok for the seahorses as long as they dont breed.. get all females of a hardy type.otherwise seahorse fry will end up going thru the vents and wind up in the return pump or skimmer and die.. even the adults may go over the wall.. I don`t recommend aqua pods for seahorses..

The only problem with a seahorse/fish tank is keeping the seahorses fed. The fish will take all of the food. With clowns you might be able to get by with it but then again I havn't read much about seahorses.
