Default LR 30 days into cycle, clean again?

This rock was shipped out of the water for 3 days, it was pretty stinky stuff. I cleaned it in 3 buckets of SW and brushed most of it with a tooth brush in the first bucket. Today I was looking for some pc.'s to try out super glue gel. While turning things over I found a few pc's that have some polyps. They look brownish / purple. But are pretty firmly attached. Should I remove them cause they are probably left over still dieing or let them be.5.5 gal pico, 8lbs combined LR, 4 lbs nano size and 4 lbs rubble, the rubble had tons of dead stuff, 5 lbs LS, current satalight 12" fixture 36 watt light I have been lighting the tank but not on any real schedule. Some coraline just starting to show, ac mini with med size filter pad sold at wally world, rinsed out every day replaced weekly, rio 360 for flow, stealth 25w heater temp around 79 with out lights using an old glass thermometer, some diatoms mostly on the glass. Rocks blown off now and then with a turkey baster. Tank smells fine now like the ocean but not stinky.

Shipped and expected in a couple days
AC 50 to mod as a fuge. Should I get the surface skimmer?
palm light
coralife digital thermometer.

Headed to LFS to get the water tested. If ok may get a couple snails. If they have any today.
BTW aquamend and super glue gel together is much better than just SSgel, but this time of year home depot was out of aquamend.

After all that. Would you clean those few rocks again or leave them?
Thanks for any help or suggestions what else I should do.

Default Re: LR 30 days into cycle, clean again?

Water tested Amonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate .2 PH 8.0 (is that OK because I read the PH may read lower if tested after the lights have been off awhile mine off 10 hrs)
First thing said to me after the testing was "you should buy a fish and some food so you can get the cycle really going. You can not cycle a tank with just LR and LS. I thought you could.
I did get two tiny blue leg hermits.
I have a refractor(spelling) my salinity is 1.025 and the stores is 1.022. So I dumped half the water out of the bag. It is floating now. I will slowing match the SG before letting them out.
Tomorrow find another LFS.
