Default questions about a 12 gal nano

I've decided to start with a 12 gallon nano tank. I'm just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. My LFS is supplying me with all I need to start out with and it will cost under 100 bucks for everything. When the cycling is thru I want to a really nice tank, but I don't know what to put in it. My LFS says I should only get one fish and it seems to them even one in such a small tank is a bad idea. They tell me I shouldn't get an anenome because the tank is too small and I wouldn't have the right lights to have hard corals. I trust the guy very much, he's been doing this stuff since '96, but thats what I want in my tank. I want a clown and an anenome the clown can live in, and I love the colors of the hard corals. I just don't want to put something in the tank if it is going to die. I want to succeed at this. What do you suggest for me to have a nice display in my tank?

the lights that come with the tank are 2-T5 Daylight 10,000K white bulbs and 2 T5 Actinic 03 blue bulbs. It also comes with moon light bulbs as well. Shouldn't this be good enough for coral to live?

Unfortunitally the lights are not enough to keep hard corals living to there fullest colors (i have tried) However i have had a small bubble anemone and a pair of clown fish in a 12 gallon nano cube for almost a year now, and they are doing great! you must watch the levels of the water however, frequent water changes are a must (i change around 3 gallons per week) and keep on top of cleaning out the filters. I hope this helps
