day 1: so it came ups and it was paked really well so i was suprized to find the box it was in to be so mess up and it was not taped. Well i opend it up and it looked all fine so i pulled it out and set it up and filled it after i filled it i found what looked like sand being pushed around in the tank!! did i not get a new one?
well after starting the pump up which (sucks) it is really loud and viberats like crazy so i pulled it out took it apart reput it back to geather and it still did it but its better for the most part now..

sounds like someone pulled the old pack it back up in the box, return it, and the LFS just resold it as brand new...not cool. i mean...someone must of returned it for a reason right? i have never heard of a cube master...is it similar to the bio-cubes, nano cubes, etc? how big and much was it?

well, at least it wasnt alot of money..i mean $90 is pretty good for a 12 gallon. as long as it can hold the $500 worth of stuff you will put inside of it, you're all good.

is that going to be your official tank stand...a swivel chair!!!!

good thing is..worse comes to worse...you fork over $20 for a new pump, or even upgrade to a stronger one for more flow right?

Looks good so far. Is that a kenya tree in the middle on the sand. I saw the cube master on ebay awhile back but I think you did better price wise. Hope it works out great for you.
For anyone else wanting to add a nano tank I saw dr fosters has the 12 galon nano DX with 48 watt lighting for 169 with a free stand. Mickey!

Icon14 Re: Cube Master aquarium

My cube master came with 1 actinic and 2 full spectrum bulbs in the hood. It also came with 2 extra 10,000K bulbs. Right now I have a long polyp leather toadstool coral in, some live rock, and a yellow clown goby and a small clownfish. I wanted to know if the 10,000K bulbs are better than the full spectrum, purple-ish, bulbs that are currently in for my coral.
Thanks!
