Default tweeking my cube???

ok....question...

i am wondering what the upsides would be and the downsides would be if i scratched off the black coating on the backside of my 29 gallon cube. would allowing more light into the back of the tank be a benefit to allow more stuff to grow, maybe put some live rock rubble and some plant life for pods to frolic in. also, if doing this would be a benefit, there are 3 chambers, INTAKE, SKIMMER, AND RETURN..do i remove the black coating from all or just some...OR is allowing more light into the back a BAD thing. hit me with your best shot people.

no, i planned on added some kind of light...just need some ideas on what kind of light will actually do anything back there. do i hang some type of bulb into like the return chamber where the water is lower, do i attach something that doesnt produce much if any heat onto the back? keep those ideas coming.

try to go to walmart or homedepot and get a grow light. They are very cheap and they come in many different sizes.
