Default Powerhead Died

So i think my powerhead went off for a week. All i had in there was live rock and live sand. The powerhead is on now, but is my rock dead now? Will i just go through a cycle now? Anyone advice?

I don't think it will hurt it. A lot of the LR people purchase has been out of the water raped in wet newspaper for a week or more.

You should be fine, was there ANY movement from the return of either sump or skimmer?? Like Ed mentioned, Shipping LR is about 5 days (slow shipping) in moist newspaper.

I wouldnt sweat it. It should be fine.

Also, remember you want to have around 20-30x turnover rate from powerheads. Throw another powerhead or 2 in there and then you wont have to worry about flow if one breaks.

You should be fine. And in your 3 gallon you should be good with just one powerhead. Elliot---am I right??

Even the smallest power head would be pushing some crazy water. If you hooked up one Hydro Koralia Nano you would be getting 80x the tank volume per hour(if it is at 240 gallons per hour). Thats ALOT of flow.
