Default perfect temperature for a nano tank?

what would you all say is probably the optimal temperature for a 29 gallon cube? i think mine usually hovers at 80-81. i figured that if 85 is near the upper tolerance and 78 is near the lower, 80-81 seemed like a good median.

thanks elliot. sounds like you and i think alike regarding temperature. i wonder what temp though, my corals would prefer? maybe i will try a slightly lower temp and see what happens.

lol...I get that a lot.

I would keep it in the low 80's. If you looked at those maps of ocean temperatures, near the solomon Islands where there are many large reefs, the temps reach 90 degrees! In the winter they probably go down to the high 70's so find a good medium and you get 80. That is the reason I keep all my tanks at 80 degrees.
