Default Anemone

What type oa annemone can I get for my Clown because I going to get to pair, but I don't want nothing thats going to grow to fast in a 24g.

Is it possible to keep a dwarf feather duster in a 24g?

get yourself a nice LTA(long tentacle) or BTA(bubble tip), your clownfish will love both, make sure it has some color. i made the mistake of just getting a long tentacle that was white...very boring to look at. a nice purple colored one would be sweet.you can keep various feather dusters of any variety in your 24 gallon. steve

You need to check the tank size those anemones need. You dont have to get a dwarf, get a full sized feather duster.

I wouldn't recommend putting an anemone in a 24 gallon tank or any tank for atleast 6 months until it matures

I am going to have to agree with reefnoob here.... Anemones should have at least a 30g tank, depending on the tpye of anemone it is. The types you have, BTA, sabae and LT all need a larger tank. The condy and tube will be fine in a 20, but the larger ones should have more room.

nope lol the condy and tube are bad for the 20 they are the most aggressive of the bunch, and the self propagate so they stay surprisingly small "all of the anemones" self propagate

what i have noticed is that you can mix many anemones, being, BT,LT,SEbae, codys, and rock anemones, and they can touch but you cant mix more aggressive anemones like carpets, hells fire, tubes and H magnifica

That makes sense. It is just like corals....you can mix most polyps, but not a brain and polyps.

In my experience, the bubble tips are very very hardy and my clown loves it.. our anenomie has been alive for atleast 4yrs (who knows how old it was when we got it). Mine is so hardy it was literally hanging out of the water for 15 minutes of tank hell this morning and i didnt even worry about it. the dang thing is soo resiliant.
