Hey Ed - off topic sort of, but I see you have mangrove, how is it doing? I am planning on growing mangroves in one of my refugiums - how much light do you have on it, how much of the stalk is in the water.... I may have more questions for you later... Glad you are entering TOTM

They have grow about a inch in 6 months No problems you need to spray off the salt buildup on the leaves once a month or so. They do better if you get the roots in the sand but will grow without it. The ones I have are about 18" long with 8" not counting roots in the water. I have 3 more that are farther back that are only 14" same 8" in water. I have one 75w fluorescent grow light and one 75w full spectrum compact fluorescent ( the curly ones ). You may have problems finding tall ones like I have unless you are down here in Florida, the ones I have came from the wild. You are allowed to take free floating ones but once they take root you are going to jail for touching them. If you get shorter ones I would recommend setting the roots in LR to give them some thing to grasp it will make them happier. Any thing else that I forgot just ask and I will try to to help.

I should say that my tank is near 8 months old now but there are no selections between 6 months and 1 year. So in June I will fix my profile.

The 8 month old part must be what you missed.
