Default My 14g Biocube

So my 20 gallon long crashed, still not sure what caused it.... May it rest in peace.

The tank crashing forced me to run out a get another tank to save as much as I could. I decided on the 14g biocube. Easy all-in-one system I was able to save one mushroom rock, a zoo rock, my GSP rock, and my true perc clown female(her mate died). Here are some pics of what it looks like so far:

Water:

LR and sand:

Front tank shot:

Watermelon zoos:

Hitch-hiker Hell Fire anemone:

Can't wait for everything to take off

Sorry to hear about your loss and tank crash, no fun Had it happen to me when I first started out.

I love biocubes, you have done a really nice job with yours in such a short time. Good luck, hope everything works out for you.

Yup she is a true perc...her mate died in the crash . She is adjusting to single life though. When I first got the new tank she just hung back in the corner but now she comes out and swims around.

thts sad to hear about her mate, i jsut gave my first even pair of clowns to dino2 today, with there carpet, it was vey sad parting with them but i know there going to a good home and she will take good care of them. I raised them form babies to being over a year old now. there were such a good pair im glad tht she has them though.
Gert her another mate i know tht she will be happy with someone else in the tank with her, it may take some ajusting to but in the long run i think all clowns need tht partnership with each other an there anenome, form what ive seen i with the 3 pairs i had. I had a sinlge maroon but as soon as i placed the smaller maroon in the tank with her, she livened up and comes out alot more and swims around the tank with him. Took them some time thought to get used to eah other, but now tyou dont see them apart really. Just my thinking. sorry to hear tht htough.

john

its so sweet, glad your clowns got to stay together, couldnt let the lovers be slip up! and getting another clown was the best decision i ever made for my tank, it really made me see the different personalities of the same species of fish. i love them sooo much!! i think my b/f gets jealous sometimes!

New layout is looking good, like the rock setup for sure Corals are looking good too. Just curious, what lighting system does that come with?

Your clown is so cute, so sad she lost her mate Glad to hear she is doing better now.

Been a while since I posted an update on the tank. Tank is doing AMAZING! This tank is by far my favorite one out of all the tanks I have built. Many new additions including a mate for my female true perc. I just added a frogspawn, red zoos, and some palys today so everything was pissed off and I got crappy pics. Will try again tomorrow and post them.

Sorry to hear about the crash. Im guessing trading some frags will be put off on your end as well. (sorry I try to find a little humor in everything) I hope you can figure out what it was that caused the crash and inform some of us newbies so maybe we can have a heads up. The new tank looks great!
