Ha ha, me too. I saw your other post about getting bigger tanks. Congrats, hope you get what you are looking for

I am still saving for a big tank, going to setup a reef tank this time instead of just my little FOWLR. Still going to keep my small tank FOWLR though Love it too much, plus I can't part with it, it is my first tank.

Nice looking tank. A little crowded in my opinion though. But I am sure once you start with corals it's very hard to stop. I have not got into corals yet, but sure I might fall into the trap as well. Hopefully I can learn from others though and not over crowd things

the problem is that people just give corals to me when they are not doing well in thier tanks and i am not going to say no. but soon this and some softies in my 30 gallon tank will be in a 75 gallon tank. just with the corals in this 20 gallon i could fill my 75. as long as they are ok i am too.

Lol, ya I wouldn't say no to them either. Much better then just letting them die. A 75 gallon would be much better to unclutter things

i just started a 20 gallon nano. just put a 150 watt metal halide over it. Its 2 foot deep. just wondering if its gonna be to much light for it. I want some soft corals and a few hard corals.

Any info would be nice.
Cheers
Chubb

the height seems well but, how wide is it? I use a 250 watts halide in my 24 inch wide and I use the sides and lower parts to place those corals that don't like the brightest parts of the tank. just se if they are not openning and move them around untill they are happy. You can also use your rocks and bigger corals to provide some shade. just put them where they are happy.

if everything else fails you can put the light higher up with some legs or hanging them from the ceiling.

before anyone says anything the tang and almost all the fish in the 24 gallon tank are in a 55 gallon tank. that was just the holding place untill the 55 was ready. I know its too small for all of them but it looked nice.

Its a corner tank. I have the light about 6 inches off the water. My mushrooms seem to be opening right up now and they about 3/4 of the way down the tank. I will let you guys know how it all goes.
