Default Post pics of 20 gal nano!

I would love to see pics of everyones 20 gal setup. i am slightly frustrated with mine because i cant seem to get the aquascaping to look amazing. I need pics and suggestions! I think this will be an awesome way to show off everyones twist on the same tank!

Very nice pics. I only have 1 pic of my 12G Nano. Sorry about the fingerprints and the flash. I'm still trying to get used to this camera. It's a Nikon cool pix 8700 8 megapixel and it has options...well it's options have options. Well here it is.True black perculas(mated pair) frog spawn and hammer, open brain, closed brain, ricordia mushrooms, purple mushrooms, zoanthids, feather duster, pink tip BTA,(just split) assorted snails and some blue leg hermits. I think that about covers it. Any feedback is appreciated.

If you look closely, you will see the hammer right behind the frogspawn. My blacks are laying eggs but I lost the first hatch due to a heater malfunction and the second batch to bristle worms. The third time's a charm. I still can't figure out how to just post a picture instead of a link. Is there anyone out there that can help me with that??

Here is a pic of my 22 gallon tall tank. It was a pain to decide on how to arrange the rock cause there is not much bottom space cause it's a tall tank. After playing with it like 5 times I am happy with it now

you have the same breeds of fish i have in mine! i like yours a lot too, im kinda having the same problem with mine, its long and not very wide and im not happy with the way its scaped. there isnt any place for new corals to sit. what kind of filter does everyone use on their small tanks. im using a "hang on the back" filter thats for 30-50 gallon tanks and a smaller filter im using as a refugium.

Same fish, sweet I actually have 2 percs too, only see one in the pic though.

I also use a hang on back filter, it's a penguin setup rated for I believe same as yours, 30-50 gallon. Works just fine for me, keeps the tank clean and in check. I do water changes every 2 weeks and change the filter then as well.

ok cool. i was planning on doing seahorses before i fell in love with my clowns and they didnt need a lot of waterflow so i went with a hang on the back filter and i figured my tank was so small i didnt need anything else. its just reassuring to know im doing the right things. i do water changes about every week to 2 weeks just depending on what i have to suck off the bottom.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Do you have a powerhead though? You should have one, even in a 20 gallon tank, I have a 10gallon as well and still have a powerhead even in that small of a tank. My powerhead is rated at 230gph for my 22 gallon, it's a Maxijet. I wouldn't go with anything less then 200gph.

Lol, ya I know what you mean. Luckily I have yet to get any corals and fall into that trap. I am still saving for light and powerhead upgrades. Then onto coral
