Default How long to cycle a nano

Hello there,

just curious how long it should take a 14gallon nano to cycle. I took a piece of shrimp and tossed it in today to get things started. thanks for the help.

hey thanks, i forgot to mention I originally had about 10lbs of live sand as well...my bad

about a day after I posted the question I added about 10lbs of live rock...it had a few button polys and other neat critters pop out the other day...took water reading yesterday...NH3, Nitrite, and Nitrate are all reading zero..yeah!!

i did notice a few bristle worms cruising around on the rock...any thoughts about what fish/critter would enjoy them for lunch...thanks

actually you need to keep the bristleworms. they are sandsifter/detritus eaters. they have a bad rep but they are not bad. and i would suggest 20-25 lbs of LR.
