Hey Marc...how do I get a fancy RB New England thing next to my name...I do live in New England (Rhode Island to be exact) and would be honored to have that title...or maybe even a mod postioion..(probably the first potential mod to not even have a tank up and running yet)

It is quite possible that sometime within the next decade I will be sitting at Ft. Drum, in which case, I will want in this group...tag and everything.

Marc asked us to introduce ourselves. You'll probably figure me out soon enough, so I will not ruin the surprise. lol

Out of all of our mods, I am the least experienced. I have been doing this for about a year with 2 20 gallons.

Currently, I have a project going on in Fish Disease & Treatment. Any sick fish photos...set me up. The more time I spend looking at ailing fish, the less trouble I can get into!

Welcome to our group!

Becky

Thanks for letting me join your group. There is not much around here as far as LFS, etc. Have to order everything online. Shipping is killing me

NE is pretty good if you're near urban areas. Pretty sparse in the boonies though.

Hey Dave....do you have any opinions about John at Sea Creature Aquarium in North Providence RI. I know you live in New Hampshire but you've probably been in the hobby allot longer than me (obviously I don't even have a tamk yet) I heard people from RB New Englad talk about another place in Rhode Isalnd but I'm not sure where it is ( I think Providence but I'm miserable with directions half the time I'll take 195 east when I'm supposed to be going 95 south.) But I'm always looking for other Reef stores.

I told my husband we need to open a small shop in the county, lol. We have 1 lfs for all surrounding areas I know that is harder then i think to start, but we would have location and could take all country business, lol, if there is any
it would def. be in the boondocks. When we move out there in a couple of years i wouldn't mind haveing a room for every one to come see or buy some thing. I'd be happy just to have some one to talk to and more important to listen too. I don't get that in my home

Never been that far south so I dont know. It'd be cool if you ever feel like taking a drive come on up and myself and Marc will take you around to the stores up here. Marc was planning a trip down to I think CT to visit a few LFS, one was I think Grenwich and I forget the other.

The big problem with having a store in the boones is getting livestock. Without a large type airport nearby its really tough since most of your livestock will be delivered and need to be picked up there.
