| Acropora Loripes Coral Acropora LoripesCoral Family:AcroporidaeCoral Genus:AcroporaCoral Species:LoripesCommon Name:None knownCommon Morphologies:Branching (arborescent)Origin:Pacif ic OceanLighting Requirements:High. Direct metal halide lighting is strongly recommended for optimum growth rate and coloration.Flow Requirements:Strong indirect or nearly direct flowAvailability:Moderate Difficulty:Advanced (Taken from SPS Coral, Zoanthids in a Reef Aquarium) I have one of these now, and really love this SPS. It is a thick acro that loves alot of light, and some serious flow. I bought my 1-2 inch frag on ebay, and had a bad mishap. The Acro sat in Oakland, CA for 3 days at an airport!! Ouch! Well folks I am happy to say it is going strong, and doing very well!! Enjoy the SPS of the month!! ~Marc ![]() Pic from Drprez.com ![]() |
