Blue Slimmer Acropora

Blue Slimer Acropora


Possible species: A. yongei, A. haimei etc
Description: Small stag horn growth profile but with some fused branching. Individual branches up to 12 mm thick. Pale yellow-tan color with bright blue coralites and growth tips.
Care: Grown under average to strong variable water flow conditions. Otherwise maintain usual SPS water chemistry. Best color under 250W, 20,000 K radium lighting and relatively high in the tank. Seemed to suffer under shallow 400W, 20,000 K lighting. Been in captive propagation since 1999
